few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting Oscar Vilches , talented illustrator Peruvian naturalist, who in a few weeks will be inaugurating their sample "PORTRAITS" in the city of Cusco.
In his own words, this sample is "a tribute to Earth, the children of the Earth, this time with these beings small in size but great in form and color, insects and their hidden world, they make up one of the most successful animal groups that inhabit the planet. Ants, butterflies, mantids, beetles, tiny beings, of great importance to the ecosystem, portrayed in this exhibition, to learn about, to understand that we share a common space and is responsible for all of us, care for and preserve it. "
Oscar has a passion for nature, a great promoter of environmental education in the country and an artist like no other. His illustrations are very realistic and portrayed with great simplicity and beauty of the world around us insects, birds, mammals, etc.
The exhibition opens next September 3, 2010 in the Temporary Exhibition Hall of the Convent of Santo Domingo-Qorikancha in the spectacular city of Cusco (Peru) Do not miss !
